A Front Plater is a resident of New York or New Jersey who puts the lives of people that are full time residents in Monroe and surrounding counties at risk because they are too self-centered to stay at home during a pandemic.
Instead of staying where the infrastructure can handle a large number of individuals, Front Platers have no concern about potentially bringing COVID-19 with them to an area with limited resources.
Make no mistake. This is the me-me-me mentality that all New Yorkers and New Jerseyans possess. They will gush about how great their states are, that they are more 'progressive', that they are leaps and bounds ahead of more rural areas, that people to their west are backwards and out of touch with the 'real world'.
They will deny it until blue in the face, but this is concrete proof that those urban pits, when things go bad, are the last places on Earth where they want to be.
Residents of New York and New Jersey shouldn't be given a hospital bed in Pennsylvania. They should be given a pair of handcuffs and a one way ticket back to the cesspool they came from.

Requests were made to the following HomeAway locations in Towamensing trails. A week prior, Governor Tom Wolf, halted all short term rentals. The HOA itself of Towamensing Trails also banned rentals. Still, people are renting. The request was for the closest upcoming weekend for a two night rental, two adults and between 1-3 children. Are some automatic responses? Maybe, but the house is available for rent and the dates are not blocked out by the owners. Governor Wolf should be reaching out to entities like AirBNB, HomeAway, etc. forcing them to disable any short term rentals in PA. It is state mandated, there should be no issue. These companies have this ability.

Meet Pine Swamp Properties out of South Ave in Jim Thorpe, also likely owning, funding or managing Bear Mountain Real Estate in some capacity. BMRE's -redacted- clearly thinks that listing BMRE's vacation properties as places to 'shelter' is definitely not a way to advertise that the properties are for waiting out COVID 19.
